I recently heard a comment about ‘country weddings’ that I won’t repeat but it was paired with a decent eye roll and whilst I just let that comment fall to the side I thought, this could make great content 😆🤔

So, I want to shine a light on ‘weddings in the country’ and what that means through the lens of a regional wedding planner.

🤍 The inspiration comes from the backdrop of rolling hills, canals and lakeside locations.

🤍 There’s a sense of space. Not just from the property but from the aspect of space in your timeline, in your meetings, in your setup because things aren’t rushed.

Which brings me to the next point 👇🏼

🤍 There’s a sense of calm. From not just the bridal party but the whole vendor team because everyone is allowed the space in their day to be in their zone of genius and absolutely deliver, come ceremony time.

🤍 There’s a sense of grounding and ‘down to earth-ness’. Professional approach with a laugh or two along the way. And a sense of comradeship that you find in the country -where everyone rolls up their sleeves to help one another out. No hierarchy. Just teamwork and mateship.

All of the above is why we specialise in regional weddings. And the stories, the sense of ‘home’ it brings when talking to couples who want to come back to that for their special day is what warms my heart.

Not at all to be confused with hay bales, hessian, mason jars or ‘rustic chic’.

But rather a day oozing just as much style and art form as the city, but with a dose of that special hospitality you only find in the country 💕
