Oh Louise and Damien, what fun we had working with you both on your epic wedding day!nIt was the best!

Louise and Damien came to us wanting to infuse their wedding day with their humour, a lot of fun, autumn jewel tones but also pops of colour and a sense of family. They weren’t really sure how to bring all of those elements together seamlessly but during our first call I knew we could create some magic here and I was super excited to put together our ideas for them.

Here’s how it went down;

Set in mid-April at the stunning Willow & Stone Estate in Ballarat, we designed a day that brought together their vision and sprinkled in moments of fun, especially for the party of a reception.

The Ceremony was held in the garden with an alter of a circle arbour with florals sweeping across one side of the structure and spilling onto the ground upon a vintage rug to anchor the whole feature.
The aisle chairs were set out weaving for a meandering pathway and hand-made tassels sway in the breeze -A little nod to what the reception held in store for their guests.
Fresh rose petals and matching floral arrangements were positioned at the start of the aisle, bringing the whole space together beautifully.

For the pre-dinner drinks; we set this up on another area of the gardens to create ‘zones’ and help take their guests on a journey.
The lush grassland featured bar tables, vintage velvet lounges, loads of layered rugs, cushions and leather beanbags for a relaxed family atmosphere with plenty of lawn games and tunes to keep people entertained as they grazed the gourmet antipasto platters.

In the restrooms; a Coachella glitter bar was set up for guests to get their glitter on ahead of the party that awaited in the marquee.

Moving into the clear-span marquee for their cocktail-style reception; again, we created zones around the feature dance floor.
Sitting central to the floor plan was their dance floor with a massive custom tinsel streamer ceiling installation with mirror disco balls woven through and a garland of greenery to bring the outdoors in.
They amazing cake took centre stage on the dance floor underneath the canopy of lights and streamers.

Two rows of guest tables lined either side of the marquee whilst mixed bar tables and lounges were created around the dance floor.
On the deck; bar tables spilled out and a feature lounge area was created with the repurposed ceremony arbour against the stone wall for a moment for speeches and photos.

Louise and Damien; It was our absolute pleasure to have been asked to be a part of your day.
Thank you for trusting us to get creative for you and bring your vision to life. It was such a joy and we loved every moment!
