Our journey with Madi and Michael began what seems like many moons ago, I think because it was a journey but one which would form a beautiful friendship along the way, the kind of friends you feel like you’ve known for many moons.

Madi & Michael I’ve got to say were absolute troopers. Covid through anything and everything their way which meant multiple postponements and multiple wedding designs, floor plans and menus were created to fit the ever-shifting perimeters of government restrictions. They showed up to each meeting, each email and each phone call with a can-do attitude and smiles on their faces. Just grateful to be able to still marry each other and have a handful of their favourite people to witness it. These two are such humble, genuine people with big hearts. They were an absolute dream to work with as they trusted our changing vision and guidance with other facets of the wedding planning. I believe it’s with this recipe of trust, gratitude, friendship, laughs and smiles that really do allow your entire wedding team to step up and truly shine for your incredible wedding day. And that is exactly what happened for our dear Madi and Michael.

An intimate wedding for 50 of their closest family and friends, downsized from the original 100+, we helped Madi and Michael host the most incredible wedding day.
Their ceremony took place in the gardens infant of the Homestead at Mewburn Park. Lush, whimsical foliages with touches of delicate babies breath woven around an arch structure and soften with a hint of flowing chiffon was simple enough to play the perfect backdrop for their nuptials.
Their gorgeous Golden Retriever Cash stood proudly at the alter with his Dad, and Evie made their ceremony so fun with lots of laughs and surprising their witnesses with a draw out-of-the-hat to decide which I loved.

Following their Ceremony guests were invited to an incredible grazing table by Tinamba Hotel and lawn games in the gardens whilst the couple mingled with their friends and family.

The marquee was styled to condense the space down to suit an intimate dining experience by Duart Catering.
One long row of tables was the centrepiece to the room with lush foliage garlands, romantic table linen, tall dinner candles glowing against the glassware. Gold cutlery and stone side plates elevated the tables but kept to the neutral colour palette.
At the end of the table was their repurposed ceremony Arch with a fun neon sign which was a little nod to capture the wit and hour of these two.

A special thanks to Julia from Mewburn Park for joining creative forces with me to really help Madi and Michael have their epic wedding day. To Duart for catering their special day at the eleventh hour with a superb menu and dining experience for their guests. And to Evie for saying yes to helping them say I Do at short notice, and make their ceremony so much fun.
A magical team to help bring Madi and Michael’s wedding dream to reality. Thank you.

And to M&M; I will never forget our time working together. Through the ups and downs of Covid and life, you always remained so supportive and up-beat, so trusting and ready to roll with the punches. And always with a smile and a few laughs thrown in. I will always remember your generosity, how you genuinely asked how my little family were going, and how you took a moment out of your day to get a photo with me whilst I ran around in the background. Or how your Ceremony brought tears to my eyes as I was just so thrilled that you got to have your day…. hiding behind the palm tree thinking I was all stealth but then mid-ceremony you gave me a little wave haha. Such fond memories and a beautiful friendship. Your wedding may have been smaller than you anticipated but it was big on heart and love which is something I will forever be grateful to have witnessed that day. Congratulations, you both deserve every bit of happiness and more and thank you for entrusting us to help bring your wedding vision to life xx
