Lindenow Cup Day - Bairnsdale Racing Club

Inspired by the surrounding Autumn tones with a touch of rustic charm, and you have a cocktail styled setting ready for eager race goers for the 2019 Lindenow Cup.

Warm tones of burnt orange, rusty red and golden browns mixed with glowing tea lights and the warmth of timber finishes all strung together to provide an inviting space for the Bairnsdale Racing Club’s guests and committee. With the race day sponsored by Bulmers farms of Lindenow, we wanted the space to give a nod to the rustic country setting of the town of Lindenow whilst injecting a classy and comfortable vibe for guests.

A Chef's Collaboration - Spring Table

We love nothing more than a creative take on an event, and ever more so when it’s in our backyard of Lindenow VIC and in company with the region’s best of the best Chefs, Produce and Wine to compliment, so when Seventy Event Management asked us to be a part of such a wonderful event for Gippsland, we couldn’t resist!

Set in the small town of Lindenow where farming and fresh produce are the star of this close-knit town, we helped organisers; East Gippsland Marketing, East Gippsland Food Cluster (EGFC) and Destination Gippsland transform the local town hall in to a sophisticated foodie haven with a touch of country charm.

140 guests rolled in to the quiet town where they were greeted with a glass of local Gippsland wines and roaming canapés before invited to dine inside the hall to enjoy a five course degustation menu prepared by local award winning chefs who each prepared a menu designed solely around the region’s own fresh produce to match and compliment our local wines.

We gained prior access to the menus prepared by The Long Paddock, Albert and Co, Northern Ground, Sardine and Tinamba Hotel to draw inspiration for designing a restaurant atmosphere that would fit the brief perfectly.
We wanted to really have an element of surprise and encourage guests to interact and start a conversation around what this event meant to our region. And so; tables were styled in all white linen for that fresh classy feel. The table centrepieces were designed to be the star of the styling. Each row of tables had a colour palette that was made of of fresh local grown flowers as well as some of the ingredients that featured in the Chef’s menus.
Kale, Lemons, Raddish, Baby Carrots, Mushrooms, Asparagus + more were incorapoted in to our organic table centres. After the event, guests were encouraged to take a centrepiece home and get creative in the kitchen.

We absolutely loved spreading our creative wings with this event and love the idea of re-purposing our centrepieces like this. Hearing the reactions of guests as they took a closer look at the table centres is that element of surprise we love to see.
We are so very proud of our home and so honoured to be able to help make East Gippsland produce, it’s farmers and it’s chef’s shine on an incredible level last Spring.

BRHS Charity Gala Ball

January 24, 2016

We were truly honoured when we were approached to design and decorate
this beautiful heritage venue to raise money for the Bairnsdale Regional Hospital.
The newly refurbished Riversleigh venue played the perfect host for a fine dining evening last Saturday.
With a black-tie theme and embracing the natural beauty of the building,
we designed an elegant evening of fairy-lit ceilings, glowing candelabra centrepieces and customised signage.
A great night had by all and raising just shy of $17,000 for our local hospital.
A big thank you to Nic Ingram from Light&Type for capturing it all for us.

Duart Bridal Fair

January 24, 2016

On a cold Autumn Sunday morning we set on route to Duart Homestead with coats & coffees in hand to transform a clear marquee for a boutique country wedding fair.

Teaming up with local suppliers, we styled a magnificent 'mock wedding' with a canopy of festoon lights adorned in peppercorn foliage, long dinner tables with woven over-lays and mixed seating with bright pops of autumn colour and soft cushions.
Cocktail furnishings for guests to sit back and relax amongst the music accompanied by a joint-designed custom service bar.

All tied togther with coloured tea-lights, a suspended wedding cake and a bit of cheeky signage.

Deep purples, Raspberry reds and autumn Oranges played key to this design with hints of metallic gold for a classy touch on an outdoor Marquee.

Thanks so much for having us on board! We loved working with such amazing vendors & suppliers to create a wonderful outdoor experience at such a stunning Venue.

Racing Victoria - Ladies Day Cup

The launch of Spring Racing Season started off with a bang this year.
We were so delighted to be invited to style the VIP function room for Ladies Day Cup at the Bairnsdale Race Club.

Our team of creatives designed a subtle yet colourful display to celebrate a wonderful day out for a great cause.

A big thank you to the Bairnsdale Racing Club for inviting us to weave our magic for you and your distinguished guests. It was a glorious day and a wonderful start to the new Racing season ahead. A pleasure to work with.

Racing Victoria - Melbourne Cup Day

With a tribute to the Australian landscape in-mind; we designed a reception for East Gippsland's VIP's and racing committee members that would make a blank canvas truly come to life as punters watch the race that stops the nation.

With chic black linens and chairs, the bright centrepieces of native Australian flowers really popped, giving the room a burst of colour.

Each napkin featured hand-written tags with Aussie Racing quotes tied with twine.
Helping pull together the raw details of an Australian landscape were metallic gold tins as vases, timber rounds for table centres, and cascading foliage garlands upon rope for the ceiling.

Outdoors featured similar styling with colourful hand-made fabric garlands for the balcony ceiling to flow in the Spring breeze.

A lush media wall was also created to give thanks for the contributing sponsors of the Grand view dining room and Fashions on the field.
A fabulous backdrop indeed.

At A Glance:
85 metres of fresh foliage garlands, 240 hand written napkin tags, 54 tins of floral natives, 30 metres of handmade fabric garlands, 1 Kluger boot FULL of peppercorn foliage, 5 amazing team members to pull it all off in 1 fun filled day.

A warm hearted thank you to the Manager and committee for allowing us to weave our magic for an amazing day out. We truly had a blast creating this setting for you and your guests and hope you all backed a couple of winners, too!
