Elyse's Gatsby 40th birthday

What an absolute pleasure it was to style a fantastic Great Gatsby themed birthday for Elyse and her guests!

Set at The Strand in Williamstown, the second-floor event space overlooked the beautiful water back towards the glowing lights of Melbourne's City.
The room had a ceiling covered in balloons with a cocktail style settling of high bar tables, furnishing and props to really give the room that party vibe.

Tall centrepieces of Orchids and Feathers with hints of gold made one of many fabulous focal points for the room.
Vintage props from the era were sourced and worked into the event, along with  a gourmet dessert bar, champagne tower and Photo Booth.

But the theatrics of this Great Gatsby Soiree didn't stop just at the styling. Gatsby dancers, a mime and a dress-code to suit all tied the event together wonderfully.

Elyse, we had such a ball styling your Birthday for you.

Kayla's 21st Birthday

We were absolutely thrilled to be working with such a wonderful family to help celebrate an exciting milestone for Kayla.

Set on the top floor of the newly renovated Criterion Hotel in Sale, country VIC we transformed this space into a luxe cocktail setting boasting a chic monochrome pallet with hints of metallic accents.

Featuring a fairy light photo backdrop with giant balloons and custom Instagram frame, a carefully curated selection of gorgeous furnishings, simple and elegant floral posies, lots of glowing candle light, purple feature lighting, a Melbourne DJ
and amazing pub atmosphere; this was so much fun to style!

Thank you to Kayla and her family for being so welcoming and open to new ideas
and trusting in our design concepts for this special occasion.
To Ferg and his staff for being so accommodating with our setups, pack down and ensuring our bellies were well fed in the bistro!
To the Dann Event team for being a dream to work with as always. And to Hannah for beautifully capturing this setting for us.

Luca's 1st Birthday

Such a fun day to celebrate Miss Luca's 1st Birthday with an Alice in Wonderland theme.
Based around a favourite children's book; we styled this fantastic party alongside a talented Mum herself!
Complete with custom signage, a mad hatter's tea party table, and enchanted ribbon tree.

Tarryn's Bridal Shower

Sophistication for a High Tea with the Bride to be.
Set at the Bellevue on the Lakes and catered by the team at Rudder & Fin in conjunction with Jemma Louise Cakes, set the perfect scene for selfies, sweet treats and some bubbly!

One central table styled with oatmeal linen, champagne sequin runners, florals and white napkins with pink twine underneath a canopy of foliage garlands led your eye straight down to the focal point; Tarryn in her peacock chair adorned with blooms.

Guests enjoyed Cupcakes, short bread, cake pops, and savoury canapés with champagne and tea for a ladies afternoon before Tarryn's big day in January.

The high tea caravan parked outside ready to serve a delicious menu of teas and beverages,
styled with vintage details made for a memorable experience on the day.
All captured by our Photographer, and the guests with the polaroid a well!

Using recycled elements with pops of pinks, reds and blues to jazz up the Hotel's courtyard function room.

Boho Fashion Shoot

Like a kid in a candy store we were when we were approached to collaborate with the finest creatives in East Gippsland to pull together a Spring Racing styled shoot inspired by our beautiful landscape with a boho vibe.
With bright pops of colour and hand-made details, we teamed up with Nephelle, Sherridan & Team, Nic and our amazing floral lover; Donna to create a stunning showcase of what the 2015 Spring Racing season has to offer.
 

Thank you to the dream-team & our models for forming a wonderful collaboration.
Just goes to show that five creative minds are better than one.
