Nadine + Link

I think you’ll find it pretty evident by scrolling through the snapshot of their album below, that Nadine & Link’s day was bursting of fun, colour and laughter. And that is how I found the planning process with them from the onset - so. much. fun.

Nadine first came to me 12 months out from their wedding date with an original vision in mind of boho/ Woodstock vibes.
I designed a completely bespoke day for them with this in mind and their reaction to that first design concept was every stylist’s dream… they loved it and their message made my week.

Fast forward a couple of months and after landing on a gown and suits they realised their styling vision had shifted. So Nadine reached out to me with the query of changing direction. We’re still yet to put a label on what to call their design aesthetic but I put it down to a little bit of Peaky Blinders meets the florals and colour of Bridgerton with a hint of vintage and just enough sparkle.

As you might imagine, describing this new concept and pitching it to them was a little tricky but as soon as I showed them the visual mood board it all came together and made sense beautifully.

And the result…. Scroll below and I think you’ll agree.

Thank you so so much for having me a part of your epic day Nadine & Link. Hands down one of my favourite days and favourite couples to work with. Thank you for completely trusting me with designing and styling your day. It was an absolute honour.
Biggest congratulations to you both xx

Morgan + Cooper

It’s truly something when a colleague in the wedding industry reaches out and asks you to design and style their engagement party. Their ‘Australian wedding’ because they’re eloping later in Vegas.
To say I was honoured is an understatement.

Morgan sent me her Pinterest board of beautiful modern monochrome styling and edgy textures mixed with soft cascading roses and florals. I knew this was going to be a ball of fun putting something together for her and Cooper’s engagement. And I was very blessed to have their full trust in letting me run wild with the design based off their Pinterest board inspiration. So much so, that they didn’t 100% know what it was going to look like but wanted to arrive to that level of surprise and add to the feeling of being a guest that night, themselves.

Using local suppliers, we designed a cocktail-style event that catered to the modern, elegant vibes whilst still feeling relaxed. We achieved this by zoning the marquee into sections.
- The quiet Guest seating for conversations & dinner.
- The entrance, the features.
- The ‘hang out by the bar’
- The dance floor and courtyard.
And then using varied types of furniture, heights, textures and layering them with soft glowing candlelight, linens and mixing floral designs with soft roses and textured branches.

It was about the balance between soft and elegant and modern and textural.

Guests walked the footpath towards the marquee with a gorgeous backdrop of tall Cyprus hedging behind.
A custom duo welcome sign set the tone for the evening ahead. The entry point was layered with several focal points that lead your eye through the space, on a journey to help set the mood for the evening.
To the right; a feature cake table with floral creeping up the leg of the table. Then central; the Bar with large striking floral arrangements to anchor the centre of the marquee space and bridge it between the quiet guest tables on the left and the party on the dance floor to the right.

Every single detail was considered. Intentionall. And cohesive.

Thank you Morgan and Cooper, so so much for trusting us to design and create this space for your beautiful Engagement. It was such a pleasure being a part of this special day for you both and I can’t wait to see how epic your wedding day in Vegas is to follow xx

“I work with Lauren in the wedding industry and I trusted her with our vision for our engagement party.
I gave a mood board on the style I was heading towards. She NAILED the brief.
We walked in not really knowing what to expect but she blew us away. Beyond our expectations.
10/10 she made the process so easy. I trusted her and she delivered!!”
