As a wedding stylist who obsesses over venue aesthetics, I've put together a list of Victorian venues I'd genuinely recommend for a European-inspired wedding. Some I've had the privilege of working at myself (more on those below) - others have been thoroughly researched and are firmly on my radar. Either way, consider this your shortcut past the endless Google searching.

1. FEATHERTOP WINERY
Feathertop Winery is an exclusive estate situated just outside Bright.
Boasting stunning mountain and vineyard views and a reception space that feels like you’ve stepped into Tuscany will not disappoint.

The original Cowwarr Butter Factory was built in 1896 and has been lovingly restored to a beautiful French chateau feel in the heart of Gippsland. Amarti is one of our absolute favourites. Set at the foothills of the Victorian Alps in the heart of the King Valley, Lancemore Milawa is a boutique country house hotel that genuinely earns the word elegant. After its recent renovation, the venue is more beautiful than ever — think vineyard views, manicured gardens, and a Restaurant Merlot that transitions beautifully from ceremony to reception. With 40 on-site guest rooms and two bridal suites, your guests don't have to go anywhere. We have a wedding here later this year, and we honestly cannot wait.

Set on 13 beautiful acres just an hour from Melbourne, Cygnet Estate has quickly become one of the most talked-about new venues in Victoria, and with good reason.
European-style architecture, manicured gardens, a stunning conservatory with a hand-painted mural, and on-site accommodation make it feel like a private estate hire without the blank-canvas stress.

Brand new to the scene and already generating serious buzz. Alora is a purpose-designed private estate in the Macedon Ranges with Tuscan-inspired architecture, a dramatic 600sqm Glass Atrium for receptions, and sweeping views of Mt Macedon.
The owner's brief was to bring a touch of Tuscany to the Macedon Ranges, and she's done exactly that.
Just 45 minutes from Melbourne, this one is for couples who want something immersive, architectural, and entirely their own.
Two on-site residences (one with a private pool) mean the bridal party can stay on site.
Hold your Ceremony in the soon-to-be completed Chapel, canapés in the courtyard by the incredible glass marquee.
WHERE: Mt Macedon, VIC. 45 mins from Melbourne

Worth including with an important caveat: Mont Du Soleil is ceremonies and photoshoots only.
This is not a full reception venue. But if your vision involves breathtaking views of the Yarra Valley and Warburton ranges and you're planning a micro wedding or elopement, it is genuinely like something out of a movie. Just pair it with a separate reception venue nearby.

A classic on this list and for good reason. The beautifully restored 1860s Barn, Stables, Dairy and Chapel are all linked by European-inspired paths across acres of manicured lawns.

8. OLIVIGNA (Pietro Gallus Estate )
Spanning 20 glorious acres in the heart of Warrandyte, Olivigna transports you to the Italian countryside without leaving suburban Victoria. The Tuscan-inspired estate features an olive grove, vineyard, orchard and kitchen garden — and two distinct reception spaces depending on your guest count.

If your dream wedding venue involves envisioning picturesque Italian lavender fields, then Lavandula Swiss Italian Farm is tailored just for you. The European-style gardens are a sight to behold, particularly when the lavender is in full bloom — the fragrance of the lavender is simply divine and adds an extra touch of magic to the experience.

Kilmany Park Estate, together with it's magnificent Heritage Listed Victorian Mansion and beautifully kept grounds, is one of East Gippsland's most iconic and historic country venues for Luxury B&B Accommodation, Weddings.
Host your Ceremony in the immaculate gardens, canapés on the verandah, and host your reception in the grand pavilion (or potentially hire in a marquee) plus stay in the heritage B&B.

A hidden gem in Victoria's spa country. Villa Parma is a heritage-listed Swiss-Italian villa built in 1864, set within the grounds of the Mineral Springs Hotel in Hepburn Springs.
Think exposed brick arches, Italian marble cobblestone tiles, European topiary gardens, and a Tuscan Walk aisle that will have your guests convinced they're in the South of France.
The venue accommodates up to 100 guests across multiple spaces, with on-site accommodation available.

Barely 20km from Daylesford but feeling a world away. Brolga Hill Estate is a privately owned, antique-filled European-style villa set on six acres of landscaped gardens — olive trees, garden rooms, meadows, and rolling Tuscan-like views. Couples literally say they came here planning a trip to Italy and left having found their venue.
The villa accommodates 10 guests on site, and the event grounds can cater for up to 200. Fully dry hire/ BYO vendor model means you have complete creative freedom building your wedding from the ground up.
