Why we chose not to jump on the bow trend 🚫

..When we had complete free rein in design.
…Even though it was the most voted ‘trend’ by our followers. 👇🏼

Because design starts with you, then the feeling you want to create.
Not based on what’s hot on the Insta feeds of 2024 brides.

Whilst we love the textures of silk, satin and velvet… I’ve tied one too many chair sashes in my lifetime I think and so the bows on bows on bows trend just doesn’t appeal to me personally.

I’m also a big believer in purposeful planning.
Designing details that have a useful purpose as a pose to just sitting pretty for a few hours. And ribbons upon ribbons just doesn’t sit in line with my values there. It’s wasteful, not the friendliest to the environment and bows on candles… don’t get me started on the impracticality 🔥

Even though bows was voted high on the preference list in our recent polls, we chose to stick to our values as a pose to trends.
And we hope that inspires you to do the same when deciding on styling details for your own day.

Because YOU are the trend 🤍 never forget that.
